Below is a video that I’m in — briefly — about Parkour, that flippy, jumpy, climby outdoor gymnastic thing that everyone’s doing these days. I’m no Victor Lopez (he’s the very impressive traceur who hosts the vid), but I had a good time and surprised myself getting over the wall in the final reel below.
I don’t think I’ll ever really become a full-blown freerunner; for one thing, I’m not 5’6″ and 22, but I think those guys are onto something: to get fit, move through space. To get really fit, expose yourself to challenging environments and move through them in creative, unusual ways. My nod to Parkour in my current workout program is that I’m working on learning to do a muscle-up, and I want learn to walk on my hands.

In most of the cases individuals avail the services of institutes which are well known or those existing in the nearest location. Full Article…

Two-month-old babies who receive immunizations in the afternoon sleep better afterward than children who have their shots in the morning, according to a new study.
The results suggest a potential method for helping babies sleep through the occasional discomfort that accompanies vaccination, rather than taking a fever reducer as has often been recommended.
Sleep is important after getting shots, said lead author Linda Franck, because sleep is a sign of a vaccine response, and its important to maximizing that response.
Acetaminophen, which goes by the brand name Tylenol, is commonly given to babies in advance of vaccinations to reduce any increase in temperature and to make them more comfortable.
